Hygiene For Your Kitchens

The recent unfortunate incident about the IIT Bombay food poisoning affecting around 600 students has arose new queries about hygiene in the kitchens. Thousands of people in Mumbai, India eat out everyday, at roadside unhygienic places. However the harmful germs and bacteria are present not only in these roadside stalls but also in our own kitchens
We do believe that by eating in the office cafeteria or the college canteens may not harm us, but the recent IITB incident has proved us wrong. The kitchen staffs are the major carriers of the germs and they need to be trained professionally for kitchen hygiene. The clothes should be clean, gloves and head caps should be worn and if they suffer from airborne diseases like flu, then they should be treated before entering the kitchen.
Hence Equinox Lab has taken the responsibility of training the canteen staff of 20 colleges in and around Mumbai. They will be trained for basic hygiene practices and will be undergoing a test after the training is completed. This should be implemented all over India to make the future of India Healthy and wealthy.
